Three bilingual tours at

the Villa Médicis

This commission from the Académie de France in Rome, part of the celebration of the 350th anniversary of its founding, led to the creation of three remarkable, and, of course, off-beat tours for three days of performances.

Once again, Delices DADA demonstrated its ability to adapt to a specific request; its speed of execution; and its delicate and humorous mastery of audience management (approximately 2,300 people over three days).

Three Italian actresses provided translation and the imagination of their interpretation provided the Roman audience with three very different duos and an enjoyable dynamic for two voices.

"Traduttore Traditore" as they say in Italian: "Translator Traitor". The perfect dose of "humorous treachery" for this amusing operation that is just waiting to be renewed.
